Protein,Probiotics, Maqui Berry and Chia Seeds.....

Experimenting with my smoothie ingredients has become somewhat of a hobby for me. I am determined to feed my body the nutrients it needs to stay healthy and young. The problem is, healthy doesn't always equal tasty! I've found that I can make almost anything taste good when combined with the right ingredients. Recently I stumbled across what I feel is my best recipe yet. Let's break it down:

Maqui berry is rich in antioxidants. Specifically, Maqui berries contain high levels of anthocyanins called delphinidins. The delphinidins demonstrate potent anti-inflammatory activity.
